If you are wondering when you will get your PMP exam results, I have good news.
You will receive your PMP certification exam results before leaving your testing desk.
Once you submit your answers, there will be a short survey. After that, the display will turn white for a few moments, and your test result will be displayed on the screen.
If you have passed the exam, you will receive a congratulation from the PMI and a message saying that you will get your certificate within four to six weeks at the address you provided to the PMI when filling out the application form.
You can use the title “PMP” immediately after passing the exam.
If you have failed the exam, you will receive a condolence message from the PMI.
You will receive a congratulatory email from the PMI within one to two weeks after passing the PMP exam. Then, you can see your name in the PMI certification registry and your certificate status in your PMI account.
Many professionals worry when they do not see their status updated in their account; they expect it to be immediate.
When I passed my PMP exam, this information was available within 24 hours, but these days, it takes one to two weeks to update.
Summary
You will receive your PMP exam results immediately after completing the test, and the Pearson VUE staff member will give you a printout of your result report. You will receive an email from the PMI within one to two weeks, and afterward, you can see your certification information on the PMI registry and in your account. This took me to the PMI dashboard through Pearson VUE. There was then a “View Score Reports” link on the right hand side. I finally found this 6 hrs after I finished my exam, and my results were there! Hope this helps.

After my PMP exam, I was searching in PMI site & Pearson Vue front pages but could not find status.
The above URL led me to view my score report. Also, after around 30mins – 1hr after exam completion, I have received this score report in email from Pearson Vue. Fyi.
You will receive your congratulatory email within one to two weeks and the certificate within four to eight weeks.
But you can see your result from the Pearson VUE site.

Oh my goodness, right there with you. Got the congratulations message and now waiting with a pit in my stomach.
Same here specially that i finished my exam at 1:30am so since i passed the test 5 days ago and still no email nothing.. starting to imagine stuff here! Honestly feels good i am not alone
I’m so glad I scrolled down to see these comments. I’ve been feeling the same way since I passed the exam. Wondering if I just imagined it. I feel like its such a simple fix on PMI/ Pearson Vue’s part. I wish they could atleast supply a screenshot or instruct us to take one. I was terrified to take a screenshot or even leave the desk to get my phone because my session was still on and I didn’t want the proctors to revoke my exam or anything.
Also, did you update your profiles and inform colleaugues etc. already? Or are you waiting till you get a formal notification?
Bit of a relief that I am not alone.. I am in the exact same boat. Was to scared to move, take a screenshot, etc. I just continued thinking I would get an email or some sort of other notification. Something PMI could improve on.

Hello Mithilesh, congratulations on passing the PMP exam. Usually, it takes one week. Please wait for one week and if you do not receive a reply by then, you can contact PMI customer care.

Do you remember what exactly the message was? I got message after I finished the online exam at home. It was like “congratulation to your PMP certification, go and celebrate your hard work, you will get test results report by email in one to three days ” . I just want to make sure I was not day dreaming that I passed, because I didn’t see the word “PASS” in the message. I have very strange feeling right now. Did the message mean I passed?
Thanks for this thread because I am going through the same, and suspect so is EVERYONE whose done the online proctored PMP test with PearsonVue. I took the test 8 days ago, received an identical “congratulations” and am feeling confident that I passed. BUT I haven’t received a confirmation email yet nor has anything been updated on my.pmi.org. I expect the-quantity-of-online-testing is UP and PMI-staff-to-process-tests-and-certifications is DOWN, so I estimate this is still normal and I’m not worried yet.
I got my email confirmation that I PASSED —yay — 8 days after writing the online proctored PMP exam with PearsonVue (a few hours after having written the above post). I also checked Lori’s suggestion just now (https://pmstudycircle.com/2012/03/when-will-i-know-the-test-result-score-of-my-pmp-certification-exam/#comments/229584) and I could see my results on PearsonVue. I’m embarrassed that I must not have seen that before.

Mine said that as well. I think there was something along the lines of receiving results in each knowledge area as well. I feel the same though.. the word “PASS” would be much appreciated!!
When I passed the exam, it clearly said, congratulations you have passed the exam. It seems they have made some changes here.

Someone I’ve worked with said that they have there pmp credential. I went to check, but their name is not on there. What does that mean?
If someone’s name is not in the PMI registry, it is more likely that he or she is not a credential holder because usually people do not remove their names from the PMI registry.
Anyway, you can ask for his or her credential number and cross check with the PMI by contacting PMI customer care.

Yes, you can download your PMP exam result sheet from the PMI site.
Login to your account > go to Dashboard > click on My Certification Info
Now on the left sidebar you can view and download your Exam Report.
