  1. I just passed my CAPM exams. How soon can I do the PMP exams? Do I automatically qualify for it?

    • Fahad Usmani says:

Congratulations for passing the CAPM Exam.

No, you are not automatically qualified for the PMP Certification Exam.

Regarding your PMP Exam, if you are a degree holder then once you attain three years of experience as a project manager, you can sit for the PMP exam. And if you’re are a diploma holder then five year experience is required.

  2. Does CAPM exam have any situational questions like PMP exam? Is it difficult to pass CAPM exam? Can we apply taking the PMP exam immediately after passing the CAPM exam if we have enough project hours? How often PMI change the PINBOK version? May I have your guidance?

    Thank you so much.

    • Fahad Usmani says:

The CAPM exam is totally based on the PMBOK Guide, I don’t that it will have many situation based questions.

The CAPM Exam is not tougher than the PMP Exam.

If you have sufficient working experience then directly apply the PMP Exam, there is no need to go for CAPM.

Every four year, PMI publishes a new version of the PMBOK Guide.
