Many aspirants think that there is negative marking on the PMP exam. Please note, there is no penalty for selecting a wrong answer.
Therefore, never leave any questions unmarked, even if you don’t know the correct answer. If you don’t know the right answer, select your best guess.
Leaving a question blank will not give you any marks. However, if you answer any question, you don’t know the answer to, you have at least a 25% chance of being correct.
If you are having a problem making best guesses, try eliminating the options that are the least likely answer. If you can delete one such option, you will have a 33% of selecting the correct answer, and if you eliminate two, you will have a 50% chance of choosing right.
Therefore, answer all the questions even if you are not sure about the answers to some of them.
There is no negative marking in the PMP exam, so you should not worry about selecting a wrong answer. Firstly, complete all the questions that you can and then you can revisit any unanswered questions. Now try to eliminate the least likely answers and then select the one that is most likely to be correct.
