Free PMP Exam Sample Questions and Mock Tests
A single search on the internet will give you many sites providing you with free sample questions and mock tests for the PMP exam. However, you may find that only a few are updated with the 6th Edition of the PMBOK Guide and the latest version of Exam Content Outline.
You should only use questions from authenticated resources because bad questions can corrupt your concepts. I have prepared a list of free PMP exam sample questions and mock tests.
Before going into detail, I am listing all the resources here in a tabular form for your quick reference.

3 | PM Study Circle's 100 Questions
4 | Edwel Programs' 50 Questions
5 | Edwel Programs' 100 Questions
6 | PM Exam Simulator's 60 Questions |
Now, let’s discuss each of them in detail.
Oliver Lehmann
This is the most popular set of questions by Mr. Oliver Lehmann, who is a world-famous trainer for the PMP exam. His questions are hard, and many experts believe that if you score over 70% on his tests, you can consider yourself ready for the exam.
He has published two sets of questions. The first one is online and comprises 100 questions, and the other is a PDF version that you can download on to your device. The PDF version has 200 questions.
You should attempt these questions at the end of your final preparation.
PM Study Circle
In this blog, I have published 100 free PMP exam questions. These questions are aligned with the PMBOK Guide 6th Edition and are a good aid for your preparation.
These are easy questions and you should try them during your PMP exam preparation to find your knowledge gaps.
Edwel Programs
Edwel Programs has been helping project professionals to excel in their careers since 1992. They provide two sets of free PMP exam questions to aspirants.
The first set has 100 easy questions that you should try during your preparation. The other set has 75 tough questions which you should try at the end of your preparation or before the exam.
Free Mock Tests
In the past, there were a few free mock tests, but they have vanished and now I can find only one. This mock test is the PM Exam Simulator.
PM Exam Simulator
This simulator was developed by Mr. Cornelius Fichtner, who is a renowned PMP trainer. The access is for three days and you can attempt three mock tests with 60 questions each.
Paid PMP Exam Questions and Mock Tests
You should buy a few high-quality sample questions and mock tests. These provide you with many benefits over the free options, such as:
Free options seem to be good, but the quality of the questions may be low and they may not provide answers to your queries.
Practice questions help you understand concepts and mock tests provide you with an opportunity to test yourself against the real exam and help you develop stamina and patience to sit for a long duration.
Here, I will provide you with some paid sample questions and mock tests in a tabular form and then give you a short description of each of these resources.

1 | PMP Question Bank' 400 Questions
2 | PMP Mock Test's 200 Questions
3 | PM Exam Simulator's 1,400 Questions
4 | Whizlab's Simulator 1,195 Questions |
PMP Question Bank
I developed this question bank. It has 400 PMP exam sample questions. This is one of the most popular for PMP exam preparation and to date, thousands of professionals have used it to pass the PMP exam.
The price of this Question Bank is 4.99 USD, and it is available in three formats, PDF, ePub, and Mobi, so you can use it on any device you own.
PM Exam Simulator
This exam simulator was developed by Mr. Cornelius Fichtner, and it has 1,600 PMP exam sample questions. The content is based on the 6th edition of the PMBOK Guide and aligned with the latest Exam Content Outline.
The price is 139 USD, and the access is for three months.
PMP Mock Test
This is also my product. This mock test comprises 200 PMP exam sample questions. They are high-quality questions and close to the real exam. This mock test is available for 4.99 USD and the access is for three months. During this time, you have an unlimited number of attempts.
Whizlab’s Simulator
This simulator has around 1,300 questions, is updated with the latest syllabus, and the access is unlimited. Though the cost of this simulator is 129.95 USD, for a limited time it is available at 9.95 USD.
Here is where I conclude the list of PMP exam sample questions and mock tests.
Please note that passing any of the above mock tests does not guarantee that you will pass the real PMP exam. I have seen many aspirants get a score around 80% on Oliver Lehman’s tests but failed the real exam.
Every PMP exam is unique, and each examinee receives a different set of questions. If the questions are easy, the passing score may be high and vice versa.
For the PMP exam, you should study the complete syllabus. You should not assume that scoring more in one section can help you in another. If you do so, it may reduce your chances of passing the exam.
Read the complete content, practice enough questions, and then attempt the exam..
Conclusion
Practicing around 1,000 to 1,500 questions is enough for your PMP exam preparation. You should not just look for questions on the internet and solve them all. Stick with good quality free resources and invest some money in paid question banks and mock tests.
I believe that if you use a few from the lists I provided, you will pass the PMP exam.
